How was it possible to maintain smooth movement of the guide while simultaneously loading it with a mass of up to 980 kg?
First, Accuride used a 10mm diameter stainless steel ball in the DZ4180-080-035-U guides, unlike other manufacturers that commonly use 8mm or smaller mild steel balls.
Secondly, an intermediate element in the form of an I-beam was used, increasing the load capacity of the guide to 980 kg. The stability of the structure is ensured by threaded mounting holes, and at the same time they facilitate the installation of guides in a given application, using the type of screws preferred by the customer.
So where can these guides be used?
The DZ4180-080-035-U guide was designed for use in mobile and stationary applications, ranging from industrial warehousing to automation and robotics.
