Rotary drive is a compact rotary system designed for direct installation in customer applications. It provides rotational movement of the structure while being capable of withstanding high loads and critical environmental conditions, thanks to its enclosed system. Rotary drives consist of a slewing ring mounted on or within a housing, which also contains a worm gear. The worm gear is the component responsible for transmitting torque to the slewing ring.
Inside the housing, there are also several bearings that support the worm gear together with the corresponding motor cover and encoder cover. These covers can be customized and directly adapted using an adapter flange to fit a hydraulic motor or gearbox. The drive is equipped with its own grease fittings, which allow relubrication of the rotary drive for maintenance purposes.
