The Kassow Robots brand.

The Kassow Robots company was founded in 2015 in Copenhagen by Mr. Krystian Kassow. Initially, Kassow Robots had 3 sizes of robots in its portfolio, i.e. KR810, KR1205 and KR1805, which were introduced to serial sale in 2019. A year later, the range of offered cobots was expanded to 5 types, the KR1018 and KR1410 models joined the previously mentioned ones. In 2022, Bosch Rexroth became the majority shareholder in the company, and a prototype of the EDGE version was also presented. Currently, Kassow Robots is headquartered in Copenhagen and has offices in Prague and Ulm.

What are Cobots?

Cobots are a type of industrial robot whose distinguishing feature is that they are adapted to cooperate with humans, hence their other names, i.e. collaborative robots or collaborative robots. Visually, they resemble standard industrial robots, have one arm with many degrees of freedom and can perform complex tasks. This is where the similarities end.
Collaborative robots, unlike industrial robots, operate in such a way that they can work alongside humans without restrictions such as cages. Additionally, cobots operate at lower speeds and with less force, so that their work is safe in the event of accidental contact with a human.

Cobots, due to their advantages in the form of the ability to work directly next to humans and the wide range of applications for which they can be used, are increasingly used in industry.
One of the advantages of a cobot is the acceleration of production processes by performing standard monotonous and repetitive activities. Employees can then fully focus on more demanding tasks.
