Induction heating is the fastest and currently the best controlled heating method. Safe and environmentally friendly, alternative to traditional methods such as stoves, oil baths or burners. These methods produce smoke, vapors or oil waste, and are also hazardous to health and life.

It is well known that the correct mounting method extends the life of the bearing. Controlled and stress-free heating protects against unnecessary damage while maintaining original lubrication. This method is ideal for sealed (2RS-ZZ) and lubricated bearings.

Bearing manufacturers recommend Controlled Induction Heating as their best practice for mounting bearings.

See also Maintenance and hydraulic tools for bearings and transmission components catalogue to find out more.

Universal tools for mounting and dismounting bearings.

We offer assembly (low frequency) and disassembly (medium frequency) solutions. For bearings, gears, bushings, joints, etc.

Controlled heat

Temperature and / or time. Electronic control in digital technology optimally regulates the course of the heating process, automatically selecting the most efficient power values. Every detail is heated instantly and evenly. The heating process does not require any special steps. The control also protects against explosive heating (there is no risk of discoloration or pitting in the material.

Demagnetization.

Reliable demagnetization is a critical condition for bearings and mechanical transmission parts. Thanks to proven technology of operation, BETEX & reg; guarantee maximum demagnetization efficiency (to the intensity below 2 A / cm). This has a significant impact on the service life of the bearings, gears and other rotating parts.

Energy efficiency.

All BETEX & reg; induction heaters They are distinguished by high energy efficiency compared to traditional methods of heating parts.

A new generation with intelligent technology.

The heating process displayed on the screen in the form of a readable graph. The heaters have a logging function to save and export data. The possibility of creating documentation with the course of the heating process. The dual temperature sensor allows the heating to be carried out according to predetermined values (& Delta; T) and without the risk of stresses.

Better control and installation without stress.

The & Delta; T monitoring allows you to measure the internal and external temperature of a workpiece with two temperature sensors. This solution makes it impossible to exceed the maximum temperature, pre-set for 2 points, which in turn leads to uniform heating of the materials and protects them against overloads.

Principle of operation.

An induction heater induces a current (low frequency) into the element to be heated. This is because the object being heated acts as the & ldquo; bottom side of & rdquo; winding of an electrical transformer, which is essentially a heater. The primary winding (& ldquo; top side & rdquo;) of the transformer is powered by the AC mains through an electronic regulator. A magnetic field is created, which induces a current of high intensity (the so-called short-circuit current) in the heated element, which increases its temperature. After each heating cycle, the heater automatically demagnetizes the part.

Differences between low and medium frequency in induction heating.

  • Low frequency: low heat-up rate, excellent heat penetration to the depth.
  • Medium frequency: high heat-up rate, poor heat penetration to the depth.

The heat-up time is influenced by:

  • Dimensions and weight
  • Temperature and material
  • Available power
